You will find a full range of medical services to diagnose and treat adults and adolescents (18 years of age and older) with arthritis and other diseases of the joints, bones and muscles.

Dr. Alexandra Gonzalez-Fuentes, MD

Rheumatologist
Dr. Alexandra Gonzalez-Fuentes is naturally from Puerto Rico. She is board certified in Rheumatology and Internal Medicine. She went for medical school at the Universidad Autonoma de Guadalajara, Jalisco, Mexico. She then moved to New York City where she completed the Fifth Pathway Program and obtained her medical degree with New York Medical College. She did her Internal Medicine residency at Mount Sinai Medical School- Cabrini program in New York City, then moved to Houston to complete her Fellowship in Rheumatology at Baylor College of Medicine. She is part of the Memorial Hermann Physician Network. She has been involved with the Arthritis Foundation and was the Walk to Cure Arthritis 2014 Medical Honoree. Dr. Gonzalez is passionate about Rheumatology, loves to dedicate time to her patients and feels the most satisfaction when patients are doing well. She likes to balance her life and dedicate time to her family, practice and patients. She enjoys the outdoors, spending time with her husband and two little girls, cooking and working out.

Michelle Lunsford, NP

Nurse Practitioner
Michelle Lunsford is originally from Indianapolis, IN and graduated from Indiana University, Indianapolis with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing. As a registered nurse she worked in a surgical intensive care unit in Indianapolis. Michelle completed graduate school and received her Masters Degree in Nursing adult care at Indiana Wesleyan University. After completing graduate school she became board certified as an ANCC Adult Nurse Practitioner. Michelle has worked in the Rheumatology Specialty since 2010, her first three years in a private practice in San Antonio then relocated to Houston in June 2013 when she joined Memorial Rheumatology. Her goal is to have an integral role in supporting the needs of the patient by educating and promoting high quality of life while living with a chronic disease. On her spare time she like to work out, walk and play with her dogs and read.

Board-Certified Rheumatologist

We are seeking a New Grad or an experienced, Adult or Pediatric Board-Certified Rheumatologist to join our dynamic team in Houston, Texas. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in diagnosing and treating rheumatic diseases and conditions, including arthritis, autoimmune diseases, pain disorders affecting joints, and osteoporosis.
